Maggie found…her Maggie

Do you remember “Maggie is looking for Maggie" bloggers contest, promoted by Italian fashion label Maggie? //

Well, in the end I wasn’t elected as the winner (click here to read my post, if you like - ITA version only) //

Pity for me :) but I am very happy to announce the name of person who got the title of “Maggie" //

She is a super talented blogger, writer, smart thinker and much much more //

Her name is Elena Torresani, and she will guide you through a journey across Europe //

Follow her trip in the search for all the Maggies out there: wonderful, authentic, strong, unique women who are changing the world //

Each one in her very own way //

Stay tuned and follow here all the updates about this initiative //

(meantime, here you can read something from her already) //

September always is a hot hot month for the fashion industry //
From fashion weeks to the main glossies coming out with their much awaited (and feared - for God’s sake, do I have to break my back tryin’ to carry one single magazine?!) “September issues” , there’s plenty of things to do to get ready for the new season //
And this September 2011 is gonna be even hotter for me, since other than my collaboration for Corriere della Sera I’m also writing for Cosmopolitan.it //
I was selected as one of the 8 Italian bloggers to cover Milano Moda Donna //
Follow me both on Twitter and on the website //

A quick note about a new huge project I will be up to on the occasion of the upcoming Milan Fashion Week //
Corriere della Sera, the main daily Italian newspaper, is launching on Monday 19th a blog entirely dedicated to fashion, with special focus on Milano Moda Donna and whatever will be happening around Milan during those exciting days //
I will be reporting what’s going on together with other 9 selected Italian fashion bloggers //
We will be writing on both Twitter (follow us here) and, of course, on the blog (here) //
So, spread the word and follow us!! //

Born French, Unknown Hipster early moved to New York to become a painter, a poet, or whichever position was available on the Art scene //
Once a lead tambourin for « Uneven dusk », it’s unclear what became his main occupation after the band quickly broke-up //
All can be said is that Unknown frequently appears at Fashionable and Cultural events without being necessarily on the list //

Nothing else could sound any better, and be better appropriate to describe Jean-Philippe Delhomme's work and identity //
His blog is all about ironic portraits of New York’s artsy and fashion people //

As “serial uninvited”, he manages to attend (for real or not) both major and minor events, capturing into quick sketches the essence of people, places and situations //

VIPs make no exception and are equally portaited by Jean-Philippe //
